You’ve probably heard of the Beads of Courage program. It is the program designed to support and strengthen children and families coping with serious illness. Through the program, members tell their story using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage that they receive to honor and acknowledge each step of their treatment journey.
The kids need a safe place to keep their beads and that’s where we can help.
The Oregon Woodturning Symposium (March 17-19, 2017) will be collecting boxes. It’s not too early to start on your Beads of Courage lidded box. If you would like to participate, get information and beads at:
